Wonderfully aromatic…think all the just washed soft bits: there’s rosewater and bath talc and lychee along with clean lines of minerally lime and white rocks. It tickles the nose a little with fennel and bitter quinine/tonic too. The juxtaposition on the palate is almost hypnotic as the gewürz Rubenesque fleshiness gets corseted in by riesling, all whalebone-tight. Fruit and texture in very good balance.
