It tickles the nose a little with fennel and bitter quinine/tonic too. The juxtaposition on the palate is almost hypnotic as the gewürz Rubenesque fleshiness gets corseted in by riesling, all whalebone-tight. Fruit and texture in very good balance. The extended cool season in vintage ‘24 made for a benchmark year for Eden Valley Riesling. Tripelpunkt means “triple point”, a name that both alludes to it being a single vineyard wine comprised of three distinct blocks & aspects and our ongoing quest to make the perfect Riesling.

Tripelpunkt is exotic, alluring and versatile; a thirst-slaking luscious style that finds every corner of your palate. Our friend Kevin Schild, is the custodian of these gnarly 90+ year-old vines on a beautiful site in Vine Vale, Northern Barossa (GPS coords: 34° 29'07" S 139° 00'57"). Unfined & unfiltered. The extended cool season in vintage ‘24 made for a benchmark year for Eden Valley Riesling. Tripelpunkt means “triple point”, a name that both alludes to it being a single vineyard wine comprised of three distinct blocks & aspects and our ongoing quest to make the perfect Riesling.

Tripelpunkt is exotic, alluring and versatile; a thirst-slaking luscious style that finds every corner of your palate. Textural and balanced with great natural acidity this is a versatile Riesling with all types of cuisine from fresh oysters and kingfish sashimi to Korean Fried Chicken or a picnic cheese platter.
